The Woonsocket Historical Society is staffed and maintained by a dedicated group of curators preserving our city's history. There is always somethings to do, cataloging, researching, scanning, preserving and archiving to name just a few. If these things interest you, please contact us and we will be happy to talk with you.
TREASURE
Are you in possession of any antiquities from Woonsocket's past? Photos, books, newspapers, scrapbooks, yearbooks, directories, and memorabilia are some of the items we would like to see donated to our organization. Please think twice before throwing away any of these items, and give us a chance to look at it.
HOW TO DONATE
If you have anything you would like to donate to us, please contact us ahead of time and we will get back with you as soon as we can or visit us during our business hours on Wednesdays from 9:00 - 1:00 or Saturdays from 12:00 - 3:00. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANY ITEM DROPPED OFF AT THE MUSEUM OF WORK AND CULTURE MAY NOT GET DELIVERED TO US. It is important that you drop it off directly to the Woonsocket Historical Society.
