Membership Details
Joining the Woonsocket Historical Society is a great way to connect with local history and contribute to preserving the past. Your membership supports the preservation of Woonsocket’s story, the sharing of historical research, and the creation of programs that bring our shared history to life. Support Us
The Woonsocket Historical Society does not have paid staff. Everyone in our organization volunteers their time because they have a desire to preserve our city’s rich history. That does not mean we can survive on membership dues alone. Insurance, security, internet and supplies to preserve our artifacts take up a large amount of our budget. This is why it is so important that we ask for the public’s help. Any financial donation you can afford will help us keep Woonsocket’s history alive.

Please do not leave items at the Museum of Work & Culture — they may not reach us. All donations must be delivered directly to the Woonsocket Historical Society.
